Mom & I were watching the American Film Institute's "Top Ten Best Movies" tonight. Categories included Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Westerns, etc. When we got to "Sports". the results were pretty predictable; "National Velvet", "Hoosiers", "Rocky", and so on.
The # 7 Best Sports Movie ever made was.....(drumroll,);
"Caddyshack".
A moment of silence, please, in honor of this fine film.

A highly recommended (and entertaining) article about sports movies, how they are ranked, and a grossly overlooked film of that sort.
Here.
