Paul Newman passed away yesterday. Everyone knows about his film career and work for charity, but did you know he finished 2nd in the the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans? Yeah--and at the age of 70 he became the oldest driver to be part of a winning team in a major sanctioned race, winning the GTS-1 class at the 1995 24 Hours of Daytona.
He was 19th on Nixon's enemies list and number 1 on the list of people way cooler than you.

I am very saddened by his death. In my mind he will forever be incredibly handsome and the age when he made Butch Cassidy.
Is it tacky to say that most of my favorite salad dressings are his brand?
Mr. Newman made lots of great movies. If you haven't seen "The Hustler" (the thumb-breaking scene hurts to watch), "Hud", "Cool Hand Luke", and my personal favorite, "Torn Curtain" ( a Hitchcock thriller with Julie Andrews, of all people), check them out.
Anything named "Hud" must be worth watching.
I am quite sure we are not allowed to say that in the Bosworth Household. I remember very clearly getting in trouble for using the word HUD
