That's right folks, this time there will be no instructor in the car, times will be recorded, and (gasp!) published on the internet. Yep, everyone will be able to see how the old lady in the Mini Cooper wiped the pavement with me. My goal: beat someone. Anyone.
That beep you hear means: "Warning. You are having fun."

I recall a Geico car insurance commercial where a guy who does the narration for movie trailers was relating the plight of a recent car accident victim. He said something like, "This time, it's for real!"
That's exactly the tone I was going for. Faux importance/suspense
